Risaralda Cosecha 2025 Tasting

£0.00

Join us at the Independent Coffee Lab in London on Thursday, 11th December from 3pm to 5.30pm for an exclusive tasting and presentation with Liliana and Esnayder Cuartas of Finca Las Cruces / Sabor Coffee.

Immerse yourself in the story behind their coffees, as they take you on a journey through their history and legacy in Quinchía, Risaralda. Learn about their commitment to direct trade, farm-to-cup practices, and the importance of traceability. Their special guest, Elizabeth Furth, Head Roaster at Chimney Fire Coffee, will share her insights and experiences from her recent visit to Las Cruces, where she participated in fermentation trials and witnessed the process firsthand. This interactive session will be a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, including fellow coffee enthusiasts who have visited the farm and contributed to their coffee's story.

Finca Las Cruces has been in the Cuartas family since the 1950's. They set up Sabor Coffee (export & import company) to continue their parents and grandparents' legacy, securing financial stability for their farm and to support their local community. They work with three other farms in the town of Quinchía, the local coop of small farmers Apecafeq, as well as Anserma Caldas, whose farms were originally planted and owned by their grandfather.

To top off the experience, we'll be serving delicious Colombian empanadas to keep your energy levels up.

Participation is free, but registration is required and space limited.

We look forward to sharing this special experience with you!
